Prestashop module for Login/Register without page refresh

[DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]

Login and Registration are important elements of every eCommerce store. They play a major role in deciding whether a customer will choose to buy or not.

Some days back, one of my B2B clients contacted me with the requirement of a custom Login Module for Prestashop. He required a module which could allow the users to Login and Register to their accounts without the current page being refreshed.

As the page reload was the major issue, I came up with the idea to use AJAX for developing this module. This allowed me to fetch and display all the account details without refreshing the page.

When the Prestashop store owner integrates this module to his/her site a login button will appear on the header. As the user clicks on the login button a pop up will appear with options of the sign in and creating a new account. The user can also login via Facebook.

When the details are entered by the user, the page will not be reloaded which improves the overall user-experience. The module is compatible with Prestashop 1.5 and is extremely easy to integrate.

The end client has witnessed an improvement in their sales and overall shopping value after the integration of this module to their Prestashop store.

If you’re also looking to add this kind of module to your store, then feel free to contact me.
