Increase profit with Ask for a quote prestashop module

An intelligent businessperson is the one which do not miss even a single chance of making a  deal. When it comes to your online store, it is not necessary that the customers are the end-users. Sometimes they could be retailers or wholesale suppliers, looking to purchase any particular item in large numbers. But they don’t want to pay the price which you’ve mentioned. Maybe they are looking for the wholesale price. Not providing them a chance to negotiate the price, is the sign of a bad business owner.

I’m discussing all this stuff with you guys because lately one of my clients asked me to develop  Ask for a quote prestashop module for his store. During the development of this module, I realized how important it was for every store. I suggest all Prestashop store owners to integrate this kind of a module in their eCommerce applications.

Talking about the custom module which I developed, it is similar to the add-to-cart facility which is available. An ask for quote button is available for each product, and as soon as the user clicks the button, the item is added to “Ask for quote” cart. User can add multiple products to the list. And once the user opts for the checkout a mail will be sent to the admin. This provides an option for customer and admin to bargain and settle down for the wholesale price.

Some of the salient features which are provided by this Ask for a quote prestashop module:

  • Compatible with Prestashop 1.5 and 1.6
  • Users can not only add the items but also the quantity they require
  • Both user and admin will receive an e-mail notification when ask for quote facility is used
  • Guest checkout is available for ask for quote cart
  • Works efficiently with a normal cart Prestashop application

This is a custom module which I developed for one of my clients. But you can find the similar kind of modules in the Prestashop store too.  In case you also looking for Prestashop module development services, then you can contact me anytime.
